Crashing or Flying

Zach and Stewart went off to Survivor Man camp this past weekend. While there, Zach made a rocket.

Sunday afternoon, Evan discovered the rocket. He picked it up and threw it down with an excited yell. (Evan has been very vocal and very happy since he started to school. It's just a miracle.) He grabbed it again and did the same thing. However, this time, Zach picked the rocket up and started zooming it all around him. He gave the rocket back to Evan, and Evan chunked it again. Playing along, I said, "Oh no! It crashed!" Zach then picked the rocket up again and started flying it around. He replied, "Mommy, it didn't crash. It's flying!"

Later, I had this thought. Maybe the times we think we have crashed, God is actually teaching us to fly. Maybe when we're in the pit, it's really our peak. Could it be that when we're at our lowest, we're at our highest?

So are your crashing? Or are you really flying?

“That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” ‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
